School Photography 101. The Class for “Newbies”:

This popular and comprehensive workshop is your “Quick-Start” program for beginning School Photographers. The morning session will cover what you need to know to find and book new accounts, what to offer, how to handle requests for “Rebates” and “Commissions” and how to negotiate the best deal for you. We’ll share many “secrets” of School Photo marketing that will allow you to compete effectively with anyone; even the BIG companies.
The afternoon session will cover the essential elements of providing a fast and efficient Picture Day. Sports Photography Marketing for Beginners. Learn the basics of the volume sports photography market. Discuss the different markets available – scholastic, league, event, etc. and how to best market for each. Learn soliciting techniques and which type of jobs to pursue in the beginning.
